My name is Kimby Faires.  I am an artist and photographer.  I live in San Francisco, California with a talking-three-legged Bengal kitty, a huge silver tabby cat, and an intuitive Rat Terrier.  I draw my inspiration from nature, the sky, color, my infinite imagination, & the Pacific Ocean...of which I am blessed to see from my bedroom window.  I relish every opportunity to walk my precious pooch thus being afforded the chance to appreciate the lush vegetation that grows like wild in 'my own backyard.'  I also enjoy reading, cooking, snow-skiing, and world travel.  In my previous life, I was an urban emergency department nurse for 15 years.  I currently work with inner city, at-risk adolescents in the non-profit sector.
